A woman has faced Dili Municipality Court after assaulting another mother after their children had a fight while playing together.
According to the facts of the case read by the President Judge, the incident occurred on September 12, 2015 about 9am in Fatuhada after the child of the accused JX returned home from playing with the victim FL’s child and suddenly began crying.
The accused then went to the victim’s house and threw the phone at FL, causing her mouth to bleed.
Asked for her response to the accusations, the accused said she agreed with the facts as outlined.
The victim told the court that the pair had since resolved the matter and she did not wish to pursue the case any further.
“I forgive her and I just want to reconcile with her,” FL said.
As both parties had resolved the matter the President Judge declared the case closed.
