Member of Parliament (MP) Benvinda Catarina Rodrigues has urged the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) to repair the protection wall along the road in Gisu village, Loes sub-district, Liquisa, which is in danger of collapse.
MP Rodrigues said the public works team, through the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP), had completed the wall but the work was of poor condition.
“If it is not repaired, it will have an impact on the police quarters which are near the river,” MP Rodrigues said.
The agriculture office is also at risk, she said
She asked MOP to survey the wall immediately.
“Recently I went there and Loes residents were really concerned,” she said.
Gastão Sousa said their technicians will soon go to Loes to survey the wall.
