The founder LABEH Organization Christopher Henry Samson said that from 2009 until now they have provided training to more than 3.000 youths in public administration, basic journalism and English language.

He said the LABEH Vocational Training Center initially started with an English course and then expanded to provide training in two other courses, in journalism and public administration.
“We have had more than 3.000 youth attending training at LABEH,” Samson in Comoro, Dili.
He added that most trainees have gone to find jobs in administration in government institutions, in civil society organizations and many of them are currently journalists.
“I am happy because many of them already have jobs,” he said.
He added that the English courses will get Timorese ready to work but also to be able to apply for a scholarship for a higher education.
Student Lorenso Soares said the LABEH training center has quality because the trainers are qualified.
“I am proud of this center’s learning process because the trainers are mostly qualified and have experience,” he said.
He added that it is not easy to be a journalist but with the right commitment he could overcome the obstacles and become a professional journalist.
