No suspects have been found by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIK) in the murder of a man known as JP who was stabbed to death two months ago in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEK) office.
SIK acting director, Inspector Manuel Alves said SIK had spent the past two months investigating and completing Public Ministry documents related to the case.
“However, we have not identified JP’s murderer,” Inspector Alves said.
The homicide took place in March.
On the night of his death, JP had been drinking with friends at his home when he left at about 3am to take a friend home on his motorbike.
His body was found in front of MNEK in the morning.
Member of Commission B (security, defense, foreign affairs) MP Cesar Valente de Jesus said this was a serious crime and the investigation needed time.
“Police is now trying hard to search for the murderer,” MP Valente said.
