Member of Parliament Ilda Maria da Concencao has criticized the Criminal Investigation Service (SIK) for its failure to lay charges in a decapitation murder two years ago.

“The police have failed,” she said in Parliament.
“What exactly are the difficulties they are facing (in this case)?”
MP da Concencao said the victim’s family should lose their faith in SIK if the service does not name a suspect.
The victim, known as MV, went missing from his Pantai Kelapa home in April 2012.
His body was found nine days later in Akanunu and his head discovered the same day in Matiaut.
MP da Concencao urged SIK to continue its search for the murderer.
SIK commander Chief Inspector Manuel Alves admitted that the investigation process had problems.
No witnesses of the crime had come forward, he said.
Chief Inspector Alves would not comment on whether the case was closed, and said that decision lay with the Public Ministry.
