The Korean Agency for International Co-operation (KOICA) has donated $6 million to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to build a fishing training facility in Maubara, Liquisa.

He said the facility would be built next year.
Agriculture and Fisheries minister Mariano Asanami Sabino said the trainers could be either foreign or local.
He said he hoped the donation would motivate young people to enter the fishing industry.
Commission F (health, education, culture, veterans’ affairs and gender equality) president Virgilio da Costa Hornai thanked KOICA for its support.
“We need to establish more training centres in the districts to educate young people in fishing,” he said.
Youth Mario Fernandes gave his support for the program.
“Now young people who want to be fishermen can be more qualified,” he said.
