The Secretariat of State for Vocational Training Policy and Employment (SEPFOPE) has executed 71 per cent of funds allocated to it under the 2014 State General Budget.

Secretary of State Ilidio XImenes da Costa said the $1 million work equipment budget had not yet been reached as it was only the middle of the month.
“It will use on the car maintenance and the workshop,” he said.
He said $1400 would be taken out of the public transfer to purchase a machine to build cement blocks. The money is also being used to build more roads.
SEPFOPE’s 2014 budget is more than $5 million.
SE Ximenes said he hoped the budget would be properly executed this year.
“Last year we demonstrated a proper execution so of course this year should also be good,” he said.
Member of Parliament Ana Ribeiro said SEPFOPE’s budget execution was progressing well.
“I hope that it will be used properly and the programs will work properly as well,” she said.
